Pay attention instead of looking away - breast cancer early detection can save lives!
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women; 1 in 8 women in Germany will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. There are various risk factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, or genetic predisposition, but very often it's not clear why a woman develops breast cancer. The rule is: the earlier it's detected, the better the chances of recovery and survival – the 10-year survival rate is 82%. So early detection is key.
